Why Calculate Thermal Bridges?

In the UK & Ireland calculating PSI values will result in a more accurate SAP/DEAP rating and can mean the difference between a pass and a fail. Thermal bridging can account for up to 30% of a total buildings heat loss so its massively important to get accurate thermal bridge calculations.

Thermal bridging occurs around openings junctions, or at any point where there is a change in the thermal resistance of the building envelope. The result is increased heat loss, reduced surface temperatures and potential issues with condensation and mould.
